With its obsession with more money, power, and status
The chaos and violence of this world has exhausted my heart
Which only seeks divine union with you Lord in your everlasting spirit of love
Lord Jesus may I rest my weary soul onto your heart
For your heart is humble and meek
Your unconditional love is so sweet and my soul is fully at peace in your divine grace
May I drink from your well of love in my heart Jesus so I may never be thirsty again
