The Divinity Within the Homeless

You have been taught that the homeless are less than

But I’m here to say that they are just as divine as you and I

They are still born in the image of God’s love

They have Buddha nature within them

They are divine beings of the universe

Look within your heart and you will see this too

To cast judgment on them is cast judgment on the divine

Love your neighbor as thy self even if they are homeless

We are here to awaken to the oneness of all beings and show unconditional love to our brothers and sisters

Everything is Within You

Do not seek enlightenment or God outside of yourself

Everything you strive towards is already within you

Be still and open your heart

Do not strive to be a Buddha

Your inner most self is already Buddha nature

Your inner most self only desire is to be like Christ

The kingdom of love is like a seed within you

Water this seed and let it transform you from the inside

God is Within Us

If you look for God in the sky above you

You will only dream

If you look for God within your heart and soul

You will awaken and heal from within

The kingdom of God is a seed of unconditional love within you

Water this seed and it will transform you

From fearful to an embodiment of love

From greedy to selflessness

All your worries will vanish

All your suffering will be transformed

Keep looking within yourself each moment of the day

Keep watering this seed of love within your heart and soul till your last breath

Keep Your Eyes On Love

No matter how dark it is outside of you

There is a light within you

Keep your eyes on this light

Let it guide you out of the darkness of greed, hatred and fear

Follow this light of unconditional love and you will experience true liberation and joy

Let it transform you and heal you from within

If we keep our eyes on the darkness we will sink into the depths of fear and despair

Keep your eyes on the seed of unconditional love within your own heart

Calm Within the Storm

No matter how strong the storm is

There is a blue sky above

The sun shining light into the darkness

On the surface of life all we see is suffering but if we look deeper we can see an ultimate dimension

Behind the dark storm of fear, hatred, attachments, and greed

Behind the suffering on the surface

There is a mysterious source of unconditional love

Infinitely compassionate and healing

This mysterious source of unconditional love goes by many names

Some call this God(holy spirit), Buddha nature, or the Dao

Every sage, guru, Buddha or prophet experienced this deeply and helped others so the same

We must develop deep faith is mysterious source of love to keep going on this path

With this faith our fears will vanish and we can help others see the light

This is the way of transformation and healing

This is the path of the peaceful warrior

Surrender everything and you will be liberated

The Good News

Come Christian, Buddhist, and Muslim

Come atheist and agnostic

Come here

Look within yourself first

There is a jewel within you

A Kingdom of unconditional love

A sanctuary within your own heart

Come dive into the depths of it’s healing water

Bask in it’s unconditional love that transforms us to our core

Abandon everything to this

Abandon all selfishness, hatred, greed and fear

Abandon all your attachments

Letting go can be painful but once we have the courage to abandon ourselves, the light of love brings us everlasting joy

Nourishing the Seeds of Love

Today I will abandon all self centered ideas

I will abandon all greed, hatred, and fear within my heart

Empty my mind of selfishness

Instead I will only water the seeds of unconditional love, forgiveness, compassion and grace

I will water these seeds within me, other beings and the universe

Bringing transformation and joy to myself and to all living beings

Nourishing the planet with love with each step

Many Streams, One Ocean

Many streams go to one ocean

Many paths to the mountain top

May we be liberated from religious dogma

May we be free to see the truth within all spiritual traditions

May we be curious and open minded

Like a child with a beginners mind

All we know is that we know nothing for certain

Pride, arrogance and closed mindedness keep us from seeing this beautiful truth

We don’t truly know what will happen to us when we die

We will never know what God truly is in this life time

All war and violence stems from believing we have the truth or that we are the chosen people

When discrimination and hatred enter the human heart, suffering and war are inevitable

May we stay humble and full of grace

Letting Go of Old Identities

Today I fully let go of my old identity

I stand today liberated from any attachments to who I once was

I am reborn today

I am not a gambler

I am not a party boy

I am not a ladies man

God has granted me a new identity

A path of love

A path of compassion and forgiveness

My new identity is of a peaceful warrior

I am a poet

I am an adventurer into the unknown

I am a mystic

A follower of God’s unconditional love

Within Your Heart

Burn down all churches, temples and mosques

Burn down all holy books

But don’t burn down the human heart!

That’s where God is

The seed of true unconditional love is within us

This seed is patiently waiting to be watered but we must still our minds first

In stillness the holy spirit can transform us

But only if our heart is open to unconditional love
